Class Dojo Update 5th May

Wow school has been so busy since our return from the Easter break.
Year six are busy preparing for their KS2 SATs which will take place the week beginning 14th May download program to usb stick. We work really hard to ensure the children are well prepared and consequently best able to cope. I also frequently remind them that the tests cannot show how kind, caring and totally awesome they are download pdf viewer!
We have had various sporting challenges with a special assembly with Year 6 entitled ‘Inside Sporting Dreams’ with the boxer Josh Kennedy who is a sports ambassador for the Shepway Sports Trust sims 2 online. Year 4 were then inspired by two group sessions with him. We have also hosted a girls football tournament. Tri-Golf club has begun in earnest and we have a tournament next Wednesday 9th May kartenspiele app kostenlos herunterladen. Unfortunately, the company who were the providers for Cheerleading club let us down time and time again and have now pulled out altogether which is a shame herunterladen. We have also had a further football match as part of the Herald cup tournament but sadly, despite the teams best efforts we lost to St Nicholas 5 – 4 weihnachts cd downloaden kostenlos.
Year 3 went to Living Land at the County Showground on Thursday. This event has been running for many, many years and is a showcase for all things farming and food production josefin sans download. The children seemed to have had a great time and fortunately the weather was kind to them. I am also very proud, as are their teachers and teaching assistants, who said their behaviour was noticeably better than pupils from other schools ├╝berwachungskamera software kostenlosen. Well done team!
Year 3 have also invited their parents in to see their Stone age Museum. This was the culmination of their learning about this time in History and was certainly very impressive dialux. I have seen year 5 busy learning dances from the second world war era as they are finding out about this time in history and in particular what life was like for children videos von facebook herunterladen mac. I posted pictures earlier in the week of the amazing independent learning in our reception class and I frequently see this replicated across the school. Your children are fabulous!
A few parents have been asking me about next years classes. This is not something that we organise until June, for many and varied reasons, not least because we have so much still to do in our current classes and we don’t want to loose focus. We are fortunately able to maintain the 14 classes and single year groups for another year, however, this is unlikely to be financially viable beyond that (unless the Local Authority do expand the school as the rumours I’ve read in the local press imply!) I would ask that you don’t assume teachers will still be in the same year groups, we have a vacancy to fill and we may well be having a shuffle.
I’m having more and more conversations with parents regarding their child’s use of Social Media. I think some of our young people don’t quite realise the impact of their posts, or indeed the seemingly innocent conversations they engage in with strangers. I would urge you to regularly check accounts, and they may have more than one, as well as ensure the Apps they are using are age appropriate. This is a good reference point should you have any concerns:
Well I think that is all the news I have for the time being. Enjoy the long weekend and the much needed sunshine.
Best wishes
Mrs Wood
