Easter Fayre

Another fun packed week culminating in our Easter Fayre. That chocolate Tombola is certainly a popular stall, so many winners and so many happy customers! There was also a lot of hard work that went into the entries for the Bug and Bird Houses. Well done everyone. The winners will be announced in classes next week. When I have the total amount raised I shall let you know but meanwhile a big thank you to the PTFA for organising, get well wishes to Rebecca and Jaime who were poorly and couldn’t be there to help and run stalls, and of course thank you to you for your support.
This week Year 2 had a brilliant adventure at Brockhill Park. From the photographs it looks like they had an amazing time and I have been told their behaviour was very good too!
Year 3 have had some specialist Gymnastics teaching from the Schools Sports Partnership, they too were praised for their good behaviour and attentive listening.
We had a visit form an Ambulance (planned!!) and I know the children got a great deal from seeing inside and talking with the Paramedics. A big thank you to Mrs Burrows, and your colleagues.
Year R invited their parents in for a come and play Change4Life session. It’s my understanding a great time was had by all the adults and children (although we hope you are on the mend Roxanne) and a big thanks not only to Miss Luscombe and Mrs Everitt for organising the event but also to Mrs Kay for leading mile runs and Miss Booth for calming everyone down with a yoga session!
Coming up next week Year 6 will be on their residential to Kingswood. As well as their teachers, Mrs Richardson, Mrs Roberts and I are also going for the week. I shall be leaving the school in the more than capable hands of Mrs Kay, with Miss Ward and Miss Williams acting as assistant heads. I have no doubt they will be able to solve any issues, should you have one. Whilst Mrs Richardson and I will keep in contact with school we may not be able to answer Dojo messages from you promptly, so please bear this in mind.
