Class Dojo Update 29th March

So we reach the end of term 4.
Congratulations to all for another term of outstanding teachingand learning, much fun and laughter and great parental support.Sometimes I waiver in my belief of having the best job in theworld, however when I get to the end of a term and reflect on allthat we have achieved I no longer doubt it…and then of coursethere is the holiday which makes it even better!
For year 6, this term has culminated in their residential atKingswood. An adventure such as this really provides the childrenwith opportunities to test themselves. For some just staying awayfrom home can be a challenge but they all achieve so much. Ivisited them last night and was met with so many happy faces andtales of sheer resilience and determination. How fabulous that thechildren are given this opportunity, and how dedicated are ourstaff to provide it? Thank you Mrs Kay, Miss Booth, Miss Calver,Miss Ward, Mr Cayley and Mrs Cooke.
Talking of dedicated staff…Year 5 sleepover last Friday…Miss Ward,Miss Gorham, Mrs Cole, Mrs Everitt and Mrs Davis I think you aretotal stars…in fact you were the only stars we saw that night! Thechildren loved their night in school. I think we might have all sleptbetween 3am and 4am (only!!!)
Thank you to the PTFA for putting on the Easter Fayre yesterday atotal of £314.05 was raised which was great, so thanks to all whosupports the event.
When we return to school after the break we shall be in summeruniform, no more hunting ties in the mornings! To remind yousummer uniform is the bottle green logo polo shirt (not white), skirtor trousers…Or a green checked dress. If sandals are worn socksmust also be worn please. Hope the weather warms up!
Our next ‘Drop In’ to visit classes and have your child show youtheir work will be from 3.15pm until 5pm on Tuesday 1st May.Please remember, if you have any concerns at all, you can dojomessage teachers, or make appointments to see them. If we don’tknow about something we can’t act upon it.
Well there’s nothing else to add other than I hope you have alovely break from school and I look forward to welcoming you allback on Monday 16th April. Don’t eat too much chocolate…!
Best wishes
