How lovely was that to have a long weekend?!

Last week we said goodbye to Mrs Luxford who has been working in KS2 and teaching specific maths groups. I would like to thank her for all her hard work for the children she supported.
Swimming has begun for Class 8 Year 4’s. This is a ten week course with the aim of everyone being ‘water safe’ by the end of it. Living as we do surrounded by water this is a really valuable part of our curriculum.
Don’t forget the playground isn’t supervised until 8.45am, until this time children remain the responsibility of their parents.
We have a busy week of classes going out. Classes 7 and 8 are going to the County Showground at Detling for something entitled ‘Living Land’, this link will tell you more about what they will experience http://kentshowground.co.uk/living-land-2 Class 5 are off to a behind the scenes tour of both Tesco and Pizza Express! Wow!
Last week every class earned their brick for attendance. Well done everyone, let’s hope we are out of the sickness/chicken pox/slap cheek etc season!
I’m looking forward to seeing lots of fabulous photographs of this weeks exciting activities.
As always if there is anything I can help with or you wish to make a comment, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Best wishes
Nicola Wood
