Weekly Round Up 24th Jan
Well, the award for the muddiest classes this week goes to Jet, Jade and Onyx! What a fabulous time they had at Brockhill Park, and what a beautiful day it was for them too. Looking at the photographs they clearly had a great deal of fun, from building dens to popping popcorn on an open fire! Thank you to all the teachers, support staff and volunteers who made this lovely experience a reality for our children. We have had the last round of the Canton Martial Arts and I think the children learned a lot, especially about how to keep themselves safe. We will have our next round of Parent Consultations in March. These will be held all day on Tuseday 10th and afterschool on Wednesday 11th. As usual booking will be via Parentmail and details will follow nearer the time. Keep up the good work with the uniform, we have certainly all looked a little smarter over the last few days. Can we still try hard with punctuality too please, and as a parent commented last week, the road works so much better without the double parking at the top of the waiting area and also the illegal parking opposite the zig zags. Let’s not be selfish, as a school we are incredibly lucky to have the huge car waiting area that we have. Next week we are hosting a SEND talk; Wednesday 29th at 1.30pm. This is an informal meeting for parents of pupils with SEND and is run by Shepway Tutoring. It’s a really good opportunity to talk to someone about SEND provision and how you can access support, especially for yourselves and at home. The meetings will be held every term and the dates for the future meetings are: 26th February, 25th March, 29th April, 20th May, 24th June and the 15th July. Well done Amber class for a lovely assembly today; We all know that we should Reach for the Stars now! Next week its Turquoise class turn to talk to us about our value of aspiration; can’t wait! Assemblies start at 9.15am That’s all for nowHave a good weekendRead more.
